THE CARGO COURTYARD · FIELD GUIDE

Every crate has its place.

Guide the little cargo tug around eight original courtyards. Deliver every timber crate onto a recessed loading bay. There is no timer: a careful route is all you need.

One square at a time

Read the courtyard

The teal tug has a pale nose pointing in its direction of travel. Loading bays have recessed green centres and pale corner marks. A delivered crate gains a dark band and a check seal; its bay corners remain visible. Every bay must hold a crate to complete a puzzle.

Try, undo, try again

Moves counts each successful step, including pushes. Pushes counts only steps that move a crate. A blocked move changes neither count. Undo takes back one successful step and its counters, as often as you like — even after solving.

Restart restores the current puzzle. Puzzles opens the eight-yard picker. Restarting or switching while an unsolved puzzle has moves asks before discarding that work. Choose Keep playing, or press Escape, to return. Next yard appears after a solve; after yard eight it returns to yard one.

Think from the destination

Before pushing, picture where the tug must stand for the next push. A crate against a wall may be recoverable; one pushed into a corner without a bay is stuck. Keep walking lanes open. If a route closes, Undo is part of the puzzle, not a penalty.

About this prototype

Version 0.1.0 · Prototype for review. Eight original maps are checked by a build-time breadth-first search. There are no par scores, hints that reveal moves, solved marks, accounts, scores or saved sessions. Reloading starts yard one. There is no backend, payment or multiplayer.

The standalone page can cache this game and guide after a complete first online load in a browser with service-worker support. Installation depends on the browser. Embedded use does not register a service worker. Artwork and code load locally; no third-party font or network service is needed. Reduced-motion preferences remove movement transitions. Touch was checked in a headless phone viewport, not on physical devices.
